What People's Say About Place

Rocky Mountain Taco in Miniturn is a great place to stop off and get a quick bite. We were just getting into town for a week of skiing. We pulled up about 30 minutes before they closed. Walked in and there was no line. We ordered at the counter, took a seat, and our food was done within about 5-10 minutes. The chips were crispy, and the food was hot. This is a self-serve restaurant with a fountain machine, salsa and sauces out and available. It was the end of the day, and the place was mostly clean. The bathrooms weren't terrible and the staff seemed pleasant. I would go back to Rocky Mountain Taco in Miniturn again if and when I am in the area.

The BEST tacos, burgers, tortas, burritos, bowls, fríes in the entire Vail Valley. Have loved the food 10+ times, at their various locations (food truck in Avon for the tacos menu for example, is amazing….) & now including the Minturn main Restaurant location today!!! If you want a delicious meal go here!!! Vegetarian? Get the Hippie.

When we visit family in Red Cliff they know we have to come here! Every visit is even better then the last. Between the food and the staff I would drive 2 hours to just have lunch here! Can't recommend this place enough. Great prices for the area and quality. Definitely try the burgers too!!

Great tacos at a very fair price,I enjoyed the guacamole with chips. We also really liked both the carnitas tacos and the carne asada taco. I started eating at the food truck in Avon years ago and now go out of my way to eat in Minturn every time I am near here wanting a delicious lunch. The patio is dog friendly. Thanks again for being a great place to eat.

Love Rocky Mountain Taco! Service is fast, it’s pretty casual, and has awesome food! I’ve gotten something different every time I’ve gone and have never been disappointed. This time I got the hippie crack burrito, which is a vegetarian option, and it was phenomenal and had so much flavor in every bite. Reasonably priced and a great spot if you want something quick to go or if you’re looking to hang for a while.

The real deal for sitting en las montañas y comiendo los tacos! The guacamole was the star for me. But the atmosphere and la música were, for me, nostalgic. Friends and family being with me were a part of that, but I came home and still smelled like tacos. Not everyone likes that part but it’s all in the experience that’s lasts a night time!

Ahhh, I just finished eating lunch at Rocky Mountain Taco and it was great. I had three different tacos and each was delicious. I liked the overall vibe and all the clientele seemed to be enjoying themselves. The person that took my order was very friendly and welcoming and , even though they were busy, my food was prepared quickly. It began to drizzle a bit so my little dog and I had the patio to ourselves. Now, the best part… I’m from Delaware which is a good 1800 miles away and it was a friend of mine, also from Delaware that recommended I stop here. I’m glad I did.

We were passing through on our way to Denver and saw the sign for this place. Quick and friendly service. I had the white girl taco with chips and quac, my hubby had the steak burrito. The food was delicious and we sat outside to eat. I thought the chips and guac could have used some salt but other than that everything was good! Fun place to eat!
